Convention Room Rates are $109 per night, single or double occupancy. You must mention MAES when reserving in order to receive the discounted rate. The cut-off date to make your reservation is July 20, 2010, thereafter, reservations will be taken on an as available basis.
The Mount Laurel Mariott Hotel is an easy commute whether you are traveling from the north, south, east or west. The off ramp for exit 4 of the New Jersey Turnpike brings you directly across the road from the parking lot entrace (Route 73 is the cross road). The New Jersey Turnpike is accessed at the Delaware Memorial Bridge from the south, from Exit 6 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike from the west and from the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels from the north and east. Accessibility is also enhanced via the Greyhound bus terminal, which is only a few hundred yards from the hotel - a location you can reach without having to drive.

Refund Policy:
Requests for refunds of canceled registrations will be honored up to two weeks prior
to the start of the convention, minus a twenty-five dollar cancellation fee per person.
Absolutely no refunds will be issued for registrations canceled after August 5, 2010.
Registrations may not be carried over to future conventions.

- The recipients of the 2010 Larry West Award (Junior close-up), Junior Stage overall winner and M.A.E.S. Award of Excellence will each receive one free registration to the 2011 M.A.E.S. conference. All awards are bestowed at the discretion of the judges; any or all of the above may be withheld based upon their decision. For further details and clarifications, please contact the Contest Chairman, David Bowers.
- Effective at the 2010 MAES competition, a new award, “The President’s Award,” will be bestowed. Balloting for the award will be conducted among the contestants backstage immediately following the stage competition. Both close-up and stage contestants may vote. The award will be given to the competitor who best exemplifies the spirit of MAES competition. Each act will be entitled to cast one vote, regardless of the number of people who comprise the act. Each act may only vote once, though they may be entered in more than one competition at the same convention. The award will be presented during the awards ceremony prior to the start of the Saturday evening show.
